This Privacy Policy explains how MD.ify handles account, purchase, support, and local document information.

1. Who We Are

MD.ify is operated by Vexellab Solutions LLP. MD.ify is a Markdown reader designed for local-first document reading with optional Pro features such as GitHub import and document export.

2. Local Documents

Markdown files you open are copied into app storage on your device for local reading and recent-document access. Vexellab does not receive or store the contents of your local Markdown files as part of normal reader use.

3. Information We Collect

Account information such as email address and display name when you create or sign in to an account.
Purchase and entitlement status from RevenueCat and app store providers when you buy or restore MD.ify Pro.
Support request information you submit through the support form, including name, email, topic, and message.
Basic technical and security information from infrastructure providers needed to operate authentication, purchases, support, and app services.

4. How We Use Information

To create and maintain your account.
To verify purchases, restore Pro access, and support paid features.
To respond to support, privacy, and account deletion requests.
To improve reliability, prevent abuse, and operate the service securely.

5. Sharing

We may share limited information with service providers that help operate authentication, purchases, support, hosting, and database infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain account, purchase, and support records for as long as needed to operate MD.ify, provide support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Local Markdown documents remain on your device unless you remove them from the app or delete app data from your device.

7. Your Choices

You can use local Markdown reading without creating an account unless a Pro purchase, restore, or account-based feature requires sign-in.
You can request deletion of account records through the MD.ify account deletion page or support page.
You can remove local documents from recents inside the app.
